As reported in the Japanese edition of Newsweek, this initiative is a groundbreaking system that utilizes blockchain technology to manage contributions to agricultural work and pre-purchases of rice as digital assets.
A dedicated app has now been released, allowing users to earn Ishiko points and aim to advance from “Peasant” to “Daimyo,” accelerating the creation of a new “support community” for farmers through gamified engagement.
