While Japan boasts world-class intellectual property (IP), it faces the challenge of a wide gap between the creative sector and the financial sector, resulting in a limited framework for funding.

Mr. Ibe, CEO of Questry, spoke about the importance of bridging this divide and establishing entertainment as a new asset class.

Through the anime film fund “Talent of Talents,” launched in collaboration with Mizuho Securities, the company has achieved cash flow transparency using advanced securitization expertise. By leveraging blockchain technology, the fund aims to create a future where individual investors worldwide can participate with small amounts as a form of “fandom activity.”
